# Returning Home After Studying in Australia

# Unique Ideas Derived from Observing Carefully Celine, who disregards external distractions, is fully focused on intricate lines of code on her screen.

Beyond her dedicated work, she is an enthusiastic and amiable colleague. She joined ALP at the end of 2019 as a front-end engineer in the Information Technology Department.

Understanding the alignment between myself and the company during the interview process.

After completing her master's degree and an internship at the University of Queensland in Australia, Celine returned to Taiwan and chose to join ALP. Before this, her work experience was primarily limited to internship projects during her overseas studies, making her a fresh entrant into the professional world. Despite having limited interview experience, Celine sensed a difference between ALP and other companies. "During the interview, it felt like the company was not only focused on technical expertise but also honed in on the candidate's qualities," she said. Especially during the final interview with the CEO, the candid discussion about the company's opportunities and current situation provided Celine with a clear understanding of the company's core values and development direction. This resonance led her to choose to join ALP.

The logistics industry also needs information technology, starting with enhancing user experience.

 

The Information Technology Department is primarily responsible for the development of digital products, process planning, ongoing maintenance, communication with clients, gathering and consolidating requirements for analysis, and technical development of system front-end and back-end interfaces. With the progress of information technology, modern warehouses are adopting various automation equipment and operational management systems. The mission of this department is to assist personnel in intelligent and digital management, making traditional labor-intensive tasks smarter.

In her role in the front-end team, Celine mainly assists in the development of new features and the system design, programming, and unit testing of existing features. Her accumulated research capabilities in user experience during her academic studies allowed her to optimize her system planning and configuration by directly interacting with users at the packaging station during the Double Eleven period. This accumulated experience, combined with the assistance of department supervisors and colleagues, enables her to quickly learn new technologies.

The significant feature of working at ALP is the ability to be oneself in places that may seem routine to others. In her current projects, Celine not only completes tasks but also strives to do them well, constantly thinking about how to approach them from the user's perspective. Even if she sometimes discovers areas for improvement after completion, this becomes a driving force for continuous progress.

The transition of roles has made me a part of the team.

 

During her student days, Celine used to consider and perceive things from an individual perspective. However, after entering the workforce, she started to view decisions as a team member, understanding the responsibilities she carries. In the past, whenever she received a request, Celine would readily agree, overlooking the costs and considerations the team needed to make when adding new features. Now, she better understands that the "Customer-Centric" trait at ALP doesn't mean doing whatever the customer says but using her expertise to assist customers in making the best choices. Understanding her role and responsibilities within the team allows her to negotiate more accurately with clients.

"The best thing about working here is being able to have my own ideas and do what I want to do." Apart from bravely expressing her thoughts, understanding the reasons behind company decisions from different perspectives enables Celine to truly contribute her value to the team, becoming the belief that supports her continuous progress.
